RAILWAY TO SUCCESS WITH SUCCESSFUL RISQS ACCREDITATION
JMAC Scaffolding, a fast growing provider of scaffolding services based in the North East of England, is pleased to announce it has been accredited to the Achilles Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS).
Priding itself in the delivery of quality services, this certification shows the continued dedication of the business to expand and develop within new markets. The RISQS audit involved a two day visit to company premises from a qualified lead auditor to assess the firm’s management arrangements, including a full audit of the company’s business management system to ensure it meets the health, safety, operational and competence standards required for working in the rail environment.
WHAT IS RISQS
The Railway Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS) is the supplier pre-qualification service used by buyers of all products and services throughout the UK rail industry, including Network Rail and London Underground. This provides the industry with ownership and governance of its supplier qualification arrangements.
Achilles RISQS is the single entry point for suppliers into the rail industry. RISQS is ‘by the rail industry, for the rail industry’ and is run entirely to support the UK’s national railway infrastructure and its supply chain and features a smarter, quicker, easier platform and enhanced audit services, providing the rail industry with supplier assurance fit for the future.
